🦖 Dinosaur Volcano Play

Turn your My Little Sand Kit into a prehistoric adventure with a simple dinosaur volcano setup!

Build a sand volcano, add a few dinosaurs and little trees, then let kids pour, sprinkle, squeeze, dig, and create as they bring their own dino world to life. The squeeze bottle is perfect for adding water to the top of the volcano, while the shakers, scoop, and bucket make it easy to shape, build, and explore.

It’s a fun hands-on activity that mixes sensory play with imagination as kids create eruptions, dinosaur habitats, muddy trails, and their own little Jurassic scene.

Just add sand, a few dinosaurs, and their imagination!

  • 🌋 Dino Volcano Eruption
Build a sand volcano and use the squeeze bottle to slowly add water into the top. Kids can make little rivers run down the sides and pretend the dinosaurs are escaping the eruption. Use the sand sprinkes to shower down asteroids.

  • 🦴 Dinosaur Dig
Hide small dinosaurs, rocks, or pretend fossils under the sand. Let kids dig, scoop, brush, and uncover each surprise like a real paleontologist.

  • 🥚 Dinosaur Egg Rescue
Bury plastic dinosaur eggs or small toy dinosaurs in the sand. Kids can search for them, carefully dig them out, and create a little “hatching station.”

  • 🌿 Build a Dinosaur Habitat
Use sand, rocks, leaves, sticks, and little plastic trees to create a dinosaur world. Kids can make caves, watering holes, mountains, and pathways for their dinosaurs.

  • 💦 Dino Watering Hole
Dig a shallow hole in the sand and use the squeeze bottle to fill it with a little water. Then bring the dinosaurs over for a pretend drink, bath, or muddy stomp.

  • 🐾 Dinosaur Track Hunt
Press dinosaur feet into damp sand to make footprints. Create different trails and have kids guess which dinosaur made each set of tracks or follow the tracks to find a hidden dinosaur.
